Frequently Asked

Envexa questions, answered.

Clear, practical answers about pricing, covered pests, service timing, safety, specialty treatments, and what to expect before your visit.

01

Plans & Pricing

What each plan includes, how pricing works, and what the service agreement means.

What is the difference between Envexa365 and Envexa365+?

Envexa365 is our core quarterly pest control plan with 4 scheduled treatments per year covering ants, spiders, cockroaches, mice, and 25+ common household pests. Envexa365+ includes everything in Envexa365 plus monthly mosquito service during mosquito season and a discounted tick add-on option.

How much does pest control cost?

Pricing is based on your home size, plan selection, and any add-ons. Envexa365 starts at $49/month for homes up to 2,000 square feet. Envexa365+ starts at $92/month. One-time general pest treatments start at $249 and include a 30-day re-service window.

How do Envexa365+ service agreement terms work?

Envexa365+ begins as a 12-month annual protection program under a service agreement. Monthly billing is available for convenience, or the full 12-month term may be paid up front. The initial term starts when service begins. You may cancel service with at least 15 days' notice. After the initial 12-month term, service continues month-to-month and no early termination balance applies. If canceled before the initial term is complete, an early termination balance may apply because discounted bundled pricing was applied to services already performed. Any early termination balance will not exceed $149.

Are monthly payments prorated if I cancel?

Monthly payments are not prorated, and no refunds are issued for completed or scheduled services. Cancellation ends active membership benefits, including callback coverage, discounted bundled pricing, mosquito season continuation, and any grandfathered rate.

02

Service & Coverage

Where we service, how scheduling works, and what pests are covered.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Greater Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio, including Cincinnati, Mason, Fairfield, Blue Ash, Indian Hill, West Chester, Anderson Township, Loveland, Milford, Hamilton, and surrounding communities. We do not currently service Northern Kentucky or Indiana.

How quickly can you come out?

Same-week service is available for most Greater Cincinnati addresses. During peak spring and summer months, scheduling earlier gives you the best appointment options. Urgent stinging insect, mosquito, rodent, or specialty pest requests may receive priority scheduling.

What pests do Envexa365 plans cover?

Recurring residential plans cover common household pests such as ants, spiders, cockroaches, mice, silverfish, earwigs, crickets, centipedes, millipedes, and other listed occasional invaders. Mice are included in Envexa365 and Envexa365+ when plan terms apply. Rats are not included in either plan and are reviewed separately.

Do I need to be home during treatment?

For exterior-only treatments, you usually do not need to be home as long as we have access to the property and gates are unlocked. For interior treatments, someone should be present to provide access and review any service notes with the technician.

03

Treatment & Safety

How service is performed and what to expect around people, pets, and the property.

Are your products safe for kids and pets?

Yes. Products are EPA-registered and applied by licensed technicians according to label directions. People and pets should stay off treated surfaces until dry, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Your technician will explain any visit-specific precautions before treatment.

What if pests come back between treatments?

Recurring plan customers receive callback coverage for covered pests. If covered pests return between scheduled visits, contact Envexa and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge.

Will treatment eliminate every pest immediately?

Some pests decline quickly, while others require time for the treatment to transfer through the colony or population. Ants, roaches, fleas, and rodents can require follow-up timing depending on species, nesting, sanitation, and entry points.

Where can I find product labels and SDS?

Product labels and safety data sheets are available on the Labels / SDS page. Your technician can also answer product-specific questions before service.

04

Specialty Services

Services that require separate pricing, inspection, or a custom treatment plan.

Are specialty pests included in regular pest control?

Some pests are handled as separate specialty services because they require different equipment, timing, or preparation. Bed bugs, fleas, flies, rat programs, wildlife removal, mosquito work, and sealing may be quoted separately so the scope stays clear.

Are bed bugs, fleas, flies, and rats included?

Bed bugs, fleas, fly issues, and rat programs are handled as specialty services or custom quotes. This keeps recurring plan pricing clear and allows the technician to build the right treatment plan for the actual issue.

How does mosquito service work?

Mosquito service is monthly during mosquito season. Treatments focus on shaded resting areas, vegetation, fence lines, under decks, and source reduction recommendations. Envexa365+ includes mosquito service during the active season while the service agreement remains active.

Do you handle sealing and entry-point work?

Yes. Envexa provides pest entry-point sealing and exclusion support. If we notice crawlspace moisture or structural concerns during pest work, we document what we see and recommend the right next step.

Before Service

How to prepare for pest control service.

A little prep helps the technician work faster and makes the treatment more effective.

01

General Pest Treatment

Clear access around baseboards when interior service is needed. Remove pet food and water bowls. Cover fish tanks. Plan for pets and family to stay off treated surfaces until dry, typically 30 to 60 minutes.

02

Bed Bug Treatment

Wash and dry bedding on high heat. Reduce clutter. Move furniture 12 to 18 inches from walls when possible. Vacuum baseboards and avoid applying over-the-counter sprays before service.

03

Flea Treatment

Vacuum carpets, rugs, furniture, and under furniture. Wash pet bedding on hot. Coordinate pet treatment with your veterinarian the same day. Stay off treated surfaces 2 to 4 hours unless instructed otherwise.
